Explore the Tri-City
What Is Trójmiasto (The Tri-City) ?
It’s one big metropolitan area made of three distinct sisters: Gdańsk (The History), Sopot (The Party), and Gdynia (The Modern Edge). They are all connected by the SKM train line, making it easy to see all three in one day.
1. Gdańsk: History & Amber

The Must do's:
- Walk the Royal Way: From the Golden Gate to the Neptune Fountain.
- Mariacka Street: The most atmospheric street, famous for amber jewelry and terraces.
- European Solidarity Centre: A world-class museum about the movement started in Gdansk, that ended Communism.
- World War II Museum: An architectural masterpiece and deeply moving experience.
2. Sopot: The Seaside Resort
Think of this as the Saint-Tropez of Poland. It’s for walks, coffee, and sea air.
The Checklist/Callout:
- The Molo: The longest wooden pier in Europe. (Great for a group walk).
- Monte Cassino Street: The "Monciak" is the main pedestrian street full of bars and cafés.
- Grand Hotel: Even if you don't stay there, it's worth seeing for the pre-war glamour.
3. Gdynia: Sea & Nature
Modernist architecture and dramatic nature.

Don’t miss Orłowo! Take a Bolt or an SKM train to the Orłowo cliff. It’s a stunning beach with a wooden pier and a cliff you can hike up for the best view of the Baltic Bay."
